Duties
- Assist with the demolition of buildings, walls, flooring, roofing, and other structures using hand tools and power tools
- Remove debris, and recyclable materials from work sites in accordance with safety protocols.
- Support the disassembly of fixtures including cabinetry, doors, windows, and electrical or plumbing systems under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on site
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
Skills
- Proven experience with construction site work, demolition activities, or related labor roles
- Familiarity with hand tools such as sledgehammers, crowbars, chisels, and hammers; proficiency with power tools like drills and saws preferred
- Knowledge of construction safety practices and proper PPE usage
- Basic understanding of building systems including electrical wiring, plumbing, masonry, roofing, and concrete finishing
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly and work in various weather conditions for 12-14 hours a day.
