Demolition & Restoration Technician

We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals for a Demolition & Fire Restoration Technician position. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role involving demolition, cleanup, and restoration of residential and commercial properties affected by fire, smoke, water, or other damage.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform demolition and removal of damaged building materials
• Remove drywall, flooring, insulation, cabinets, fixtures, and other damaged materials
• Assist with cleanup of properties affected by fire, smoke, soot, and water damage
• Load, move, and dispose of debris and construction materials
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with property restoration and rebuilding as needed
• Clean and prepare work areas before and after demolition
• Move furniture, equipment, and materials from damaged areas
• Follow proper procedures when working in fire- and water-damaged environments
• Maintain a clean and safe jobsite
• Follow all company safety requirements and wear required PPE
• Travel to different job locations as assigned

Requirements

• Previous demolition, construction, restoration, or general labor experience preferred
• Must be comfortable performing heavy physical labor
• Ability to lift, carry, bend, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods
• Comfortable working in dirty, dusty, wet, or damaged environments
• Must be comfortable using hand and power tools
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Strong attendance and dependability are required
• Must be flexible, as restoration projects and job locations may change based on customer needs

Ideal Experience: Demolition, fire restoration, water mitigation, construction labor, disaster restoration, remodeling, property maintenance, or other hands-on construction experience.
