Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position offers a combination of local deliveries and warehouse responsibilities, with approximately 50% of the time spent making deliveries and 50% assisting with warehouse operations. The ideal candidate enjoys staying active, working independently, and being part of a team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company box truck to deliver materials to customer locations throughout Chattanooga and surrounding areas
• Load and unload delivery trucks using proper lifting techniques
• Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Receive, stock, and organize inventory within the warehouse
• Handle wood, trim, door, and related building materials
• Assist with general warehouse operations and maintain a clean work environment
• Verify deliveries and ensure excellent customer service at job sites
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license required
• Must bring driver's license to the interview
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) for the past three years required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Card (or currently possess one)
• Experience driving a box truck preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required
• Strong attention to safety and reliability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements:

• Regular lifting of up to 50 pounds
• Ability to handle long, heavy, and awkward materials, including products that are commonly up to 16 feet in length
• Frequent bending, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment
• Must be able to work safely and effectively in hot summer temperatures and varying weather conditions

Schedule & Travel:

• Local routes only
• Travel is limited to Chattanooga and surrounding areas
• No overnight travel required
• Deliveries typically remain within a 50-mile radius of Chattanooga

Additional Information:

• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be reviewed during the interview process
• Commercial driver's license (CDL) and F endorsement are not required
