Defects Coordinator
Responsibilities
This 1st shift Defects Coordinator position, located in Muskegon County, MI, is responsible for supporting engineering's review of castings with identified defects. The position plays a key role in improving review efficiency, maintaining accurate defect tracking, and supporting the flow of parts through the engineering review process.

Job Roles
Focuses on improving the efficiency of engineering's review of castings with defects.
Interacts daily with engineering (product, process, and quality) and manufacturing resources.
Reviews and characterizes defects identified in castings.
Assists in daily management of defective casting inventory as parts flow through the engineering review process.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of one year of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment
Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial, or mechanical technology from an accredited institution
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with reading blueprints
