Deburr Hand Finisher
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift)
Summary
The Deburr Hand Finisher is responsible for deburring parts to ensure they are free of sharp edges, in accordance with company guidelines, safety requirements, quality standards, and production goals.
Essential Functions

- Read and follow traveler instructions accurately
- Operate a variety of deburr hand tools appropriate to different applications
- Measure and document work to meet production standards
- Read and interpret intermediate-level blueprint measurements
- Apply knowledge of surface finishes and edge-break requirements
- Maintain tight tolerances without oversizing parts
- Operate a sandblast machine safely and effectively
- Scribe parts using a vibro-peen tool
- Operate tumble machines efficiently
- Accurately document part counts
- Complete discrepant material tag documentation
- Keep the work area organized, clean, and well-maintained daily
- Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
- Intermediate experience with mechanical hand tools
- 2+ years of hand finishing experience
- High school diploma or GED
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, and frequently required to stand for extended periods, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and may involve exposure to atmospheric conditions such as fumes, odors, and dust.
