Job Overview:
We are a mid-sized CNC manufacturing company which has been in business for over 50 years manufacturing components for the Aerospace, Defense, and Medical industries, is seeking a skilled Deburr / Polish Technician with the following skill sets:
Ability to set up small lathes, speed lathes, drill presses, and mills to deburr parts per supplied instructions
Competence with hand deburring tools
Familiarity with buffing wheels and associated processes
Basic ability to read blueprints and work instructions
Competence in the use of various measuring instruments and gages to verify dimensions
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and precision
Willingness to cross train into other functions such as machine operation
Ability to work in a team-based environment
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience
This is a full-time, 1st
shift position and pays an extremely competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience

Summary:
As a Deburr / Polish Technician, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various machines and use hand tools and to provide both in process and finish component edge breaks and surface finishes on precision components. Reporting to the shop manager, your role is essential in ensuring that the product meets all specifications and quality standards related to edge breaks and surface finish. You will utilize your core skills in deburring techniques, blueprint reading, and use of precision measuring instruments to verify the quality of the product. Your expertise will contribute to supporting efficient production workflows and uphold the organization’s commitment to excellence in manufacturing.
