Deburr / Shake Operator | Precision Sheet Metal Manufacturing | Direct Hire

We're looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy hands-on manufacturing work. As a Deburr / Shake Operator, you'll separate laser- and punch-cut sheet metal parts, remove burrs and sharp edges, inspect finished components, and prepare precision parts for the next stage of production. If you have manufacturing or sheet metal experience—or simply a strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn—we'll provide the training you need to succeed.

Pay: $19-$21/hour DOE

Location: On-site. Employees will report to the Bonham, TX facility until the Rowlett facility opens.

Shift / Hours

Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Overtime may begin as early as 5:00 AM and extend through 3:30 PM. Saturday overtime may be scheduled from 5:00/6:00 AM-11:00 AM.

Hours are subject to change based on production needs.

Reports To: Weld Supervisor

What You'll Do

• Separate finished parts from laser- and punch-cut sheet metal.
• Remove burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections using hand tools and deburring equipment.
• Inspect parts for quality, damage, and completeness before moving them to the next production stage.
• Read work orders and follow production instructions.
• Organize parts by job number and maintain accurate part counts.
• Safely operate grinders, deburring equipment, and other hand tools.
• Identify and report quality concerns or damaged materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist other production departments as needed.
• Follow all company safety and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
• Sheet metal fabrication experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Stand for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
• Work safely around sheet metal fabrication equipment.
