IAA, Inc. is seeking a Dealer Field Sales Representative to join our team in Northeast Region.

The Dealer Field Sales Representative drives in local market sales for the Branch. This position is an outside sales position responsible for meeting plan profitability, sales, and customer service levels. The role is working with local Businesses and Dealers to sell excess/obsolete inventory at IAA, supporting the auction, and creating a positive work experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities from dealers, local financial institutions, local auto rental companies, county and city municipalities, and towing/transportation companies
  • Monitor market trends from used car sales reports and whole results and communicate findings to Management
  • Minimum of 40 documented face-to-face sales calls completed per week; entered into SalesForce
  • Setup new accounts through contract admin from phone and road calls
  • Manage and update buyer recruitment log on a weekly basis
  • Manage projects and marketing materials for sales calls on a weekly basis
  • Attend & participate in local Dealers Association including meetings & functions
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals/targets
  • Research & resolve settlement-related issues
  • Compile & submit weekly expense reports for reimbursement
  • Other duties as assigned per business needs

 

Competencies:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years outside sales experience, basic computer skills
  • Strong presentation and relationship building skills
  • Time management skills
  • Outgoing attitude
  • Ability to work independently
  • Professional and clean appearance

 

Preferred Skills:

  • Previous Auction and/or Whole Car experience
  • Automotive, insurance, and rental car industry experiences a plus
  • BA/BS Preferred
