Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the design, engineering, and delivery of modular data center infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of mechanical or electrical engineering experience in industrial facilities, large infrastructure, or data center environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support technical aspects of data center projects from design through delivery.
- Coordinate with Sales, Project Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other teams.
- Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Develop engineering scopes, execution plans, and project schedules.
- Support mechanical systems, piping, fire protection, and equipment design.
- Prepare and review equipment lists, valve lists, piping layouts, line lists, equipment data sheets, and pipe sizing/stress calculations.
- Participate in client meetings, design reviews, site visits, and commissioning activities.
- Manage engineering changes and provide technical support during project execution.
- Ensure designs comply with customer requirements, engineering standards, safety regulations, and industry codes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 7 years of mechanical engineering and design experience, preferably in industrial facilities, infrastructure, or data centers.
- Experience with mechanical systems, piping systems, fire suppression, construction, and commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards, including ASME, ANSI, ASTM, AWS, OSHA, NFPA, and related industry regulations.
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings and technical documentation.
