Position Summary: You will be responsible for the efficient and effective coordination of all incoming shipments and merchandise at our company. This position will manage the receiving department and its staff, ensuring that all items are received, stored, and distributed in an organized and timely manner.
What you’ll do:
Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries
Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed
Supervise and train receiving staff
Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels
Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment
Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies
Monitor and control operational costs
Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations
Develop and implement strategies to optimize process
About you:
High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred
Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management
Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment
Proficient in MS Office
Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
