Job Description

Sets up, runs, and maintains specialized multi-spindle automatic screw machines. These high-speed mechanical lathes are used in manufacturing to mass-produce small, precision metal and plastic parts. The role demands strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a focus on keeping output fast and accurate. Key Responsibilities- Setting Up & Tooling: Adjusting cams, tool posts, and end-working spindles to meet part specifications.

• Stocking Materials: Manually feeding raw bar stock into the machine and changing over collets.
• Quality Assurance: Inspecting finished parts using micrometers and calipers to ensure they hold strict tolerances.
• Preventative Maintenance: Routinely lubricating high-RPM bearings, checking cutting oil flow, and ensuring machine brakes are working properly
