Chemours is seeking a Data Engineer Summer Intern to join our Data Services team! This position will report directly to the Director, Data Services.

As the Data Engineer Intern, you will work closely with the Data Services team in helping us move data from our various source systems into our Microsoft Azure-based data environment.

Location: Wilmington, DE

Hours: Regular full-time schedule of 40 hours per week

Term: May-August 2023

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Developing data pipelines using the full range of platform capabilities in Microsoft Azure, including Azure Data Factory and Azure Synapse

  • Writing data movement routines in Python and SQL

  • Participating in data modeling discussions

The following is required for this role:

  • Current enrollment at an accredited university as a sophomore or above

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or similar fields

  • Experience with SQL and Python

The following is preferred for this role:

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure

  • 3.0 GPA or above
