Description:

The starting pay for this position is $20.30/hr. with a shift increase for second and third shift.

Hours: 3pm-11pm

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Data Collector completes x-ray/metal detector checks on all lines every hour and records it a computer-based system.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Responsible for completing checks on all lines every hour and recording into the computer-based system
  • Responsible for verifying that the correct standards are being used and that they are clean and properly sanitized
  • Responsible for verifying that the reject boxes are locked properly
  • Responsible for making ensuring proper detection/rejection of standards and reporting issues to supervisor or maintenance
  • Responsible for emptying each reject box after each check is complete
  • Notifies Supervisor and QC of contamination
  • Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements
  • Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicable
  • Communicate with various departments on a regular basis
  • Ability to use a handheld computer/scanner
  • Ability to perform basic math functions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, etc.) with use of calculator

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • The Team Member will flex/grip with wrists/hands
  • The Team Member will walk, bend, stand, and squat.
  • Must be willing and able to lift 25 lbs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have 3 months food manufacturing work experience listed in work history or skills section; must have 6 months work history within the last 12 months.
