$34-$44/hr. (Based on experience and project requirements)

Schedule :

50-60+ hours per week. Overtime may be available based on project needs.

Assignment Type:

W2 contract, project-based assignment, or contract-to-hire depending on client/project.

**Role Summary

**

Pacer Data Center Solutions is hiring Data Center Electricians to support the construction of mission-critical data center facilities. Electricians will assist with the installation, layout, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical systems that support power distribution, backup power, lighting, grounding, and infrastructure systems inside largescale data center environments.

This role may support installation of conduit, cable tray, wire pulls, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, grounding systems, UPS systems, generators, busway, lighting, and related electrical infrastructure.

**Levels Considered

**

  • Apprentice Electrician / Electrical Helper

  • Journeyman Electrician

  • Lead Electrician

  • Electrical Foreman

**Key Responsibilities

**

  • Install conduit, cable tray, raceways, supports, and electrical pathways

  • Pull, route, terminate, and label electrical cabling

  • Assist with installation of switchgear, panels, transformers, busway, UPS systems, generators, and power distribution equipment

  • Read and follow electrical drawings, blueprints, and one-line diagrams

  • Support grounding, bonding, lighting, and branch power installation

  • Perform basic electrical testing and troubleshooting as assigned

  • Coordinate with other trades in active construction environments

  • Maintain safe work practices and follow OSHA/client safety requirements

  • Complete work according to project quality standards and schedule

**Required Experience

**

  • Commercial, industrial, or data center electrical experience

  • Ability to work safely in active construction environments

  • Familiarity with conduit installation and cable pulling

  • Ability to read drawings preferred

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred

  • Journeyman license may be required depending on project and location

  • Ability to pass client onboarding requirements, which may include background check, drug screen, and site badging

**Preferred Experience

**

  • Experience with data center, mission-critical, semiconductor, manufacturing, hospital, or large commercial projects

  • Experience with switchgear, UPS, generators, busway, grounding, or commissioning support

  • NFPA 70E, NCCER, lift, or CPR/First Aid certifications

**Work Environment and Physical Requirements

**

  • Active data center construction, mission-critical facility, industrial, or technical infrastructure environment

  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods in active construction or facility environments

  • May require lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling materials, tools, equipment, ladders, cable, components, or job-site materials; specific lifting requirements vary by role and assignment

  • May require bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching overhead, climbing stairs or ladders, and working from scissor lifts, boom lifts, or other approved lift equipment when authorized

  • May require working around active construction activities, moving equipment, elevated work areas, noise, dust, temperature changes, and other job-site conditions

  • May require use of PPE, tools, and site-specific safety equipment

  • May require overtime, weekends, nights, or rotating schedules depending on project needs
