Job Overview:

Local employer seeking a Receiving & Production Operator to join their manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and transferring dairy products, monitoring storage systems, supporting production operations, and maintaining sanitation standards throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety, quality, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming fluid dairy products and monitor product flow into and out of storage vessels.
  • Inspect storage tanks and equipment and respond appropriately to operational issues.
  • Perform product transfers and supply products to production processes according to daily production schedules.
  • Execute Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Clean-out-of-Place (COP) procedures.
  • Maintain sanitation standards and perform master sanitation tasks throughout assigned areas.
  • Prepare and maintain tanks, silos, valves, hoses, and related equipment for production.
  • Collect product samples using sanitary procedures for laboratory testing.
  • Complete shipping and receiving documentation, wash tags, and sanitation records.
  • Accurately maintain HACCP documentation, charts, and sanitation sheets.
  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience.

  • Experience in dairy, food, beverage, or other regulated manufacturing environments preferred

  • Ability to obtain Sampler's Certification within 90 days of employment.

  • Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to learn and use company computer systems, including SAP.

You should be proficient in:

  • Food Safety and Quality Assurance (FSQA)
  • Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP)
  • Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
