Agri Beef is hiring a Cybersecurity Architect Intern for our IT team. The Cybersecurity Architect Intern will assist with all activities responsible for the development, management and maintenance of the Information Technology security and compliance. The individual filling this role will work with the IT team to direct the management of information security policies and programs and ensure data integrity within IT and across all business functions. The position requires interaction with functional leaders in setting the information security strategy and the integration of security capabilities and risk mitigations during planning, implementation and management of enterprise systems and business operations.


  • Assist with the following:
    • Lead integration of security capabilities and risk mitigations during planning, implementation and management of enterprise systems and business operations
    • Work with business units to implement security solutions
    • Shape and oversee cyber threat intelligence initiatives to maintain adequate information security in compliance with all policies and regulations
    • Perform assessments of systems and networks within the IT and Operational Technology environment and identify where those systems/networks deviate from acceptable configurations and policies
    • Monitor efforts in the detection, identification, and reporting of possible cyberattacks/intrusions, anomalous activities, and misuse activities
    • Recommend and implement remediation solutions to help maintain an acceptable risk tolerance
    • Develop new security standards, procedures and policies, as necessary, to maintain data security
    • Create and lead security incident and disaster response planning and execution
    • Work directly with IT operations, prepare and analyze operational data, logs, and report on IT operating efficiency and utilization
  • Maintain a positive attendance record by demonstrating consistent and punctual attendance on a regular basis
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


  • Ability to work extended hours as needed for projects and/or emergencies
  • Willingness to travel as needed to remote locations
  • Ability to set up secure hardware and software configurations


  • Junior, Senior or Graduate Student pursuing a degree in IT, computer science, computer engineering, or a related degree.
  • Preference will be given to applicants with practical hands-on experience.
  • A GPA of 3.0 is preferred and transcripts may be required.
