Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to provide security and information assurance support for the 14th Flying Training Wing at Columbus AFB.  This is a full-time position. 

Responsibilities

Manage Personnel Security Program function and physical security for controlled facility areas.  Oversee CAFB’s COMSEC, COMPUSEC, TEMPEST programs to include coordinating and integrating processes between BSLM, 14 FTW/IP, 14 FTW Operations Security (OPSEC) Project Manager Office of Special Investigations (OSIs) and other key agencies.  Document IA architecture, requirements, objectives, and policies in accordance with AF directives.  Oversee and manage base INSIDER THREAT program.  Perform auditor role for all servers hosted in datacenter to include performing verification and validator role for all SSPs.  Implement and maintain an IS-level IA program and document the project though RMF process.  Manage network enclave portfolio using government-provided AIS.  Manage base circuits’ Authority to Connect (ATC) and ATO ensuring it does not expire.  Perform document maintenance to ensure continuity throughout life cycle.  Manage Security Inspection Program.  Assist 14 FTW/IG on vertical and horizontal inspections as well as performs program reviews through quarterly inspections of units.  Perform CCRI audits and cyber network defense (CND) compliance to provide 14 CS/CC quarterly status on base cyber readiness posture.  Work with 14 CS/CFP, AETC/MCCC, AFIN Mission Assurance Cell (AMAC), 624 OC on CSE reporting and mitigation actions as well as cyber orders compliance and reporting.

Qualifications

4+ years experience in cyber security or information assurance.  Bachelor’s degree in a related field.  Must be Security+ certified.  Experience in providing cyber security services to include, COMPUSEC, EMSEC, COMSEC and Information Assurance Assessment and Assistance Program (IAAP).  Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF).  Experience with security as it pertains to server infrastructure, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems (IDS).  Experience with DoD IT environment and networks desired.  Must have good communication skills, an ability to work independently or as part of a team, and be comfortable interact professionally within all levels of an organization.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
