Summary Supervises and coordinates activities on the production floor ensuring guidelines are being met within run times, product quality, and efficiently. Supervise production floor employees while providing the production team with training, coach, and communicate production goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Analyzes work orders to estimate worker hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needs. Interfaces with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are met. I nspects and measures parts and products to verify conformance to specifications. Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules. Develops, recommends, and implements measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product. Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew. Promotes the process of a safety culture and drives improvements to create a safe work environment. Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems. Maintains time and production records. Ensure USDA regulatory compliance, HACCP, SSOP, SOP, GMP, and SQF program for product performance and safety.
Education and/or Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in food production environment; required.

Mathematical Skills Ability to apply mathematical applications to practical situations. Demonstrated ability to understand basic statistics for process control.
Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) Word Processing software.
