| 2 | Proactively monitor all daily activities with brokerage companies, manage customs record keeping requirements, monitor regulatory and legislative changes, and maintain import procedures manual. | |||
| 3 | Participate in team efforts to obtain proper tariff classification of products as well as guidance on use of materials regulated by OGA’s. | |||
| 4 | Work with our Customs Compliance team in business’s Customs inquiries, Identify and resolve issues hindering customs clearance, including exams and PGA holds. | |||
| 5 | Take responsibility for ACE account and related tasks. | |||
| 6 | Tariff classification Process (for both Imports and Exports),Review all material on hand to determine the right tariff classification, Including but not limited to: | |||
| 7 | Responsible for the required documents of the Sales/ Finance/ Purchasing Department and external audit. | |||
| 10 | Collect and keep the update of Customs’ Informed Compliance Publications | |||
| 11 | Advise Sourcing / Product Development teams on best practices to save duties and increase compliance rate by sharing Customs information on merchandise as it relates to the business units | |||
| 12 | Execute tariff classifications process for exports and verify compliance with EAR, ECCN and RESTRICTED PARTY SCREENING demands | |||
| 13 | Review SPECS sheets and other data provided (this includes interaction with sourcing teams) to ensure they are correct in order to assign an HTS | |||
| 14 | Assign tariff classifications to merchandise ready and completed for Import and Exports orders | |||
| 15 | Work with brokers on problem resolution related to filed entries, Assist in preparing periodic reporting | |||
| 17 | Responsible for all duty drawback/ PSC/ refund tasks. | |||

| Job Requirements | Language | Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to speak effectively and interact with other team members, engineers, leadership and customers. | ||
| Experience | • Using the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, and OGA regulations: 2+ years • International business including Import / Export rules and regulations: 2+ years • Applying Schedule B and ECCN requirements for export shipments: 2+ Years • prefer own CBLE. | |||
| Education | Undergraduate; Masters degree is preferred .Preferred majors: International logistics. | |||
| Must have a United States Customs Broker License | ||||
| Physical Condition | Safety FIRST! Mindset is required. Ability to walk or move around the plant for extended periods of time. | |||
| Other Requirements | COMPUTER SKILLS - MS Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Outlook is the email client. Also use of Zoom, Teams and SharePoint navigation. Knowledge of and familiarity: Certification of Customs Compliance. | |||

| V. Work Environment: Mainly in office, occasionally need to travel for business trip, but while performing the duties of this job the employee sometimes needs to be in the manufacturing plant and may occasionally be exposed to extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. When in the plant safety requirements include safety glasses and steel-toed work boots. | ||||
