About the Role:

The Customer Success Marketing Lead supports retail customers by translating brand strategies into customer-specific stories, tools, and programs that help Sales launch new products, build consumer awareness, and grow the business. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role works closely with Sales, Key Accounts, and Operations. This is a hands-on role that requires ownership, problem-solving, and follow-through in a fast-paced environment. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Customer & Sales Support: Serve as the primary marketing partner for the Key Accounts team, supporting customer objectives and sales execution.
  • Retail Marketing Execution: Translate brand strategies into retailer-ready plans, presentations, and assets. Partner externally with customer marketing teams to plan and execute marketing programs through their channels.
  • New Product Introductions: Lead marketing support for new product introductions into key accounts, ensuring launches are executed on time and with appropriate materials.
  • Customer-Specific Marketing: Develop customer-specific tools such as sell sheets, presentations, launch materials, and promotions when they add value. Develop and execute customer-specific marketing plans and tactics.
  • Data & Storytelling: Use sales data to build compelling, customer-specific stories that support sales objectives and line reviews.
  • Brand Stewardship: Protect brand consistency while enabling smart customer customization.

Who you are:

  • You bring 5–8 or more years of experience in trade marketing, customer marketing, shopper marketing, or sales enablement. Experience in supporting key retail accounts and line reviews is required. CPG experience required; pet, age, or specialty retail experience is a plus.
  • You are comfortable balancing strategy with execution and are not afraid to do the work. You communicate clearly, work well across functions, stay organized, follow through, and are comfortable in a flat organization where people pitch in.

Working Conditions:


This role operates in a hybrid office environment and requires regular collaboration with Sales, customers, and internal teams. Periodic travel may be required.
