Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide daily customer status updates, including order tracking and communication of changes such as expedites or push-outs.
  • Enter customer purchase orders and change orders into the manufacturing/ERP system.
  • Issue order acknowledgements and ensure timely follow-up with customers.
  • Coordinate closely with Sales Engineering and the Supply Chain team to ensure accurate communciation of order details and requirements.
  • Create and manage work orders in alignment with customer and production requirements.
  • Maintain strong customer communications and collaboration with internal teams, particularly Sales Engineering.
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries related to orders and returns (RMA's).
  • Supports invoicing activities, including ASN's, proof of delivery, blocked invoices, and collections as needed.
  • Process and administer RMA and DMR requests, including tracking and associated documentation. Work with the Finance team for credits and rebilling issues.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, an Associates degree is preferred; with 2 - 4 years experience in customer service or related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using computers and ERP system (Visual Manufacturing preferred).
  • Positive attitude and a passion for helping others.
