To help keep up with this growth we are looking for an outstanding Customer Assistance Specialist to be part of our team.

 

Overview

A Customer Assistance Specialist collects unpaid invoices, reactivates and retains customers using good judgment, knowledge of company policy, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Places and receives phone calls with Marketing Executives and customers in order to clear balances and reactivate memberships
  • Tactfully deals with customers in challenging situations
  • Determines a viable solution with customers involved in collection by using good judgment, company policies, and customer service skills.
  • Coordinates with other departments 
  • regarding customers with outstanding balances.
  • Balances personal and departmental reports.
  • Share ideas about new methods of decreasing bad debt and increasing collections.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and retain information including company policies and procedures
  • 10 key by touch
  • 30 wpm typing
  • Personally motivated
  • Ability to work under stress
  • Detailed work and organizational skills
  • Ability to analyze problems and create solutions
  • Ability to work independently and professionally
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and Spanish when applying for Spanish lines)
  • Sit with intermittent walking
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently
  • Manual dexterity for such duties as stapling, collating, sorting, filing, typing, writing, etc.
  • Communicate (hearing & speech) with individuals in person and by phone in a tactful and courteous manner.
  • Visually read reports, computer screen, etc.
  • Ability to perform the essential duties and responsibilities with efficiency and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • Passion for personal and team success
  • Computer Experience helpful
  • Ability to multi-task effectively

 

Additional

  • Work rotating Saturdays based on company needs.
  • Work extended hours the first portion of each month.
