Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming
• Apply paint using airless spray systems and other professional painting techniques
• Work inside a large walk-in spray booth using Acrylic Polyurethane coatings
• Mix custom colors using Matthews two-part paint systems
• Paint a variety of signage products including channel letters, cabinets, monuments, ADA signage, and architectural components
• Inspect finished work to ensure high-quality standards are met
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Maintain painting tools and equipment and report any maintenance needs

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Industrial Painter, Custom Painter, or similar role preferred
• Experience with spray booth painting and custom paint mixing
• Knowledge of Matthews paint systems is a plus
• Ability to safely operate power tools and painting equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation and ability to commute to Milwaukee, WI 53209

Preferred Experience:

• 3+ years of industrial or commercial painting experience
