POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a person with Custodial and Assembly experience to work in our Williamsport, MD plant. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of custodial experience and preferably experience within an assembly department, in an industrial setting. Assemblers are responsible for operating equipment and machinery safely in our assembly department. We are looking for self-motivated individual, with the main duties handling the custodial projects. This is a full time position, with the core schedule being first shift, Monday through Thursday 6 am-3:30 pm and Friday 6 am-10 am. (includes 30 minute unpaid lunch) Requires the ability to work overtime as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safety First Mentality
- Sweep, mop, scrub, strip and polish floors
- Clean and maintain carpeted areas
- Wash walls, windows, stairways and woodwork (which may require working from a ladder)
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment
- Move and arrange furniture and equipment
- Clean, sanitize and deodorize restrooms and restock restroom supplies
- Empty wastebaskets and remove trash inside the building and also around the outside of the building
- Empty containers of paper and other materials, set aside for the County recycling program, bring recyclables to the designated collection area and place in appropriate storage containers
- Maintain cleanliness of employee break rooms
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Safety First Mentality
- 1 + year experience in a manufacturing/warehouse setting
- Knowledge of proper types of custodial equipment, cleaning agents, sanitizing chemicals and protective gear to use in all types of cleaning work, and the ability to use them safely
- Knowledge of (or ability to learn) the use and operation of a standard buffer, vacuum cleaner, and other related equipment
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Assemblers are responsible for assembling various types of foam, corrugated products, wood, and packaging supplies to meet customer needs
- Physical ability for constant walking, moving, reaching and making repetitive motions; frequently stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing and pulling up to and over 40 pounds.
- Employee will be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and protective footwear
