Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Industrial Custodial Technician to join our team. This is not a traditional custodial position—we are looking for someone with strong handyman abilities, experience working in an industrial environment, and knowledge of chemical management and facility maintenance.

This role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and functional facility while assisting with a variety of building maintenance and safety-related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Perform industrial custodial and facility cleaning duties
• Manage and handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to procedures
• Change light bulbs and perform minor facility maintenance tasks
• Inspect and maintain emergency lighting systems
• Conduct routine fire extinguisher inspections
• Operate a trash compactor
• Safely operate a man lift
• Assist with general building upkeep and maintenance projects
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Qualifications:

• Previous industrial custodial, facilities, maintenance, or handyman experience preferred
• Experience with chemical management and safe chemical handling
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable operating equipment such as man lifts and trash compactors (or willingness to learn)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
