Essential Job Functions

  • Works under the supervision of the site PM and Assistant PM
  • Supervises custodial employees in various locations throughout the site.
  • Uses customer service skills, to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, officials and all members of the general public.
  • Responsible for maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the facility as well as obtaining and maintaining the goals, standards, and objectives of the company.
  • Coordinates work schedules to ensure timely and effective completion of the maintenance and care of the buildings and offices.
  • Coordinates workflow charts on a project to meet short and long-term goals.
  • Trains, supervises, and evaluates assigned custodial staff.
  • Trains staff in proper chemical and equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Responsible for the security of designated locations.
  • Opens and closes, locks and unlocks facilities as needed.
  • Keeps records of work completed.
  • Attendance at work is an essential function of this position.
  • Performs custodial duties.

Responsible for on-site supervision, problem-solving, health and safety, and advocacy on behalf of program participants. Provides training, supervision, and direct care to participants in the following areas:

  • Job Tasks (according to employer specifications)
  • Understanding and following work rules (i.e. breaks, sick time, dress code, etc.)
  • Work Quality
  • Work speed/task attention
  • Socialization/Interpersonal Skills
  • Community support
  • Behavioral interventions and support
  • ADL skills pertinent to employment (i.e. making change, telling time, using the telephone, hygiene)
  • Other areas based on individual plan
  • Insures job completion for employers in event of employee/participant absence (if necessary).
  • Serves as client liaison between community sites, worksite employers, supervisors and employees and CW Resources.
  • Maintains required training certifications as specified by funding sources which includes but is not limited to: CPR and First Aid, PMT, signs and symptoms, dysphagia, fall reporting, abuse neglect prevention and reporting, and blood borne pathogens. Potential for securing and maintaining Medication Certification; as needed.
  • Maintains a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record with any required endorsements (i.e. PSL - public service license endorsement or if assigned to work with special education students, must carry a V endorsement, and submit to required training and initial and random drug testing.)
  • Responsible for completion and maintenance of necessary documentation per individual’s plan including but not limited to: chronological entries and service documentation related to individual goals, activity tracking, payroll and production information, behavior data, dining guidelines, incident reports, etc.
  • Performs duties in a safe and professional manner and acts as a role model for those served.
  • Attends staff and client meetings as needed.
  • Conducts all program activities in accordance with CARF, State and Federal DOL, State DDS, and worksite company standards.
  • Understands and follows agency policies and procedures.

Clean and care for buildings and facilities in order to ensure they are maintained in a safe and healthy manner:

  • Clean offices, meeting chambers, and recreational facilities
  • Mop tile and concrete floor areas
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas
  • Dust all furniture and fixtures as required
  • Wash and disinfect all washroom floors, toilets, toilet seats, hand dryers, and fixtures
  • Clean all mirrors
  • Replenish toilet tissue and soap as needed
  • Empty all waste baskets and garbage cans
  • Place garbage in an outside storage bin
  • Clean entrance and exit including glass, doors, and hardware
  • Keep the outside area near the exit and entrance clear of snow, cans, paper, etc.
  • Clean, wash and disinfect drinking fountains
  • Wash all finger marks from walls, doors, hardware, and glass
  • Clean break room sinks and counters
  • Report damages and acts of vandalism
  • Wash entrance and exit floors
  • Clean walls and toilet partitions

Maintain storage areas and cleaning equipment, materials, and supplies in a safe and orderly manner in order to ensure the safety of staff and the public:

  • Secure storage areas
  • Ensure cleaning materials and supplies are stored in a safe and orderly manner
  • Maintain an adequate supply of cleaning materials and supplies
  • Restock materials and supplies
  • Make note of the need for equipment repairs
  • Perform other related duties as required
