Summary/Objective:
The Crib Forklift Driver is responsible for warehouse operations, including receiving, organizing, and issuing materials, managing inventory, ensuring 5S compliance, and performing cycle counts. This role requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and organizational standards, with a focus on maintaining efficient storage and distribution systems.
Essential Functions:
- Maintain the 5S storage system, ensuring proper arrangement of Class B-F materials in the warehouse and chemical storage areas, in accordance with warehouse management rules and regulations.
- Receive, organize, and classify materials (Class B, C, D, E, F) in designated storage locations.
- Distribute raw materials to production teams based on production schedules, ensuring timely delivery.
- Retrieve, stack, and track empty containers, coordinating with suppliers for return and recycling (with Warehouse Supervisor support).
- Manage empty chemical containers, refilling bottles and notifying Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) to coordinate supplier recycling.
- Perform weekly inventory counts, ensuring physical inventory aligns with system records. Investigate discrepancies and follow up with appropriate corrective actions.
- Organize material locations to support FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices. Handle expired material and submit test applications for expired items, following test results for proper disposal or processing.
- Regularly inspect the quality of material storage, including environmental conditions and product status (expired, unqualified, etc.). Maintain accurate inspection records and address any non-compliance or issues promptly.
- Conduct monthly inventory counts, summarizing results, analyzing discrepancies, and implementing improvements. Submit count summaries to the Warehouse Supervisor for review.
- Perform other related duties as required by management.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
- This job is operated in a warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets.
- Must be 18 years or older.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods. Duties also include turning at the waist, reaching, bending, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday; 1st or 2nd shift. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel:
Little to no travel is expected for this position.
Required Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of manufacturing experience and/or relevant training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
