This position reports to the Director of Crew Operations for the Dream Chaser DC200 development and operations.

You will lead a team of 5-10 engineers to integrate a human rated cockpit and cabin. Areas of responsibility include: seat, pressure suit, survival gear, and crew accommodations development.

Manager oversees crew interface design, to include displays and controls. Development of flight procedures and display format development also fall under the manager’s responsibility. Development must support the DC200 schedule for preliminary and critical design reviews. The manager is responsible for hardware and labor budgets supporting his/her organization.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy program management training for relevant teams including, but not limited to, Program Managers, Production Program Managers, IPT Directors, Chief Engineers, and additional

  • Vet and launch best in class software and tools to improve processes

  • Develop requirement & verification and validation process for systems engineering

  • Schedule management


  • Requires a BA/BS in Related Field.

  • Relevant work experience may substitute for required education.

  • Experience in program management, development engineering and/or operational experience in a branch of the military relevant to the product line / business area.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $134,597.00 - $185,070.89

Sierra Space offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
