**General Function: **
The Crew Lead is responsible for maintaining operations of the assigned team to ensure efficient operation of assigned area.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities: **
Driving Safety daily
Responsible for maintaining maximum efficiencies of assigned equipment to ensure good productivity.
Troubleshoot any quality or operational issues and assist team members as needed.
Identify and assist with training needs of team membersWork with training supervisor to keep Pay for Skills updated.
Responsible for coordinating with leaders and others, as applicable, during shift changes.
Complete data entry and recordkeeping tasks accurately, as needed.
Ensure quality issues are identified and investigated timely.
Serve as backup to team members and shift leader to maintain operational continuity, as needed.
Participate and lead continuous improvement projects and activities.
Ensure team members are working safely and provide education and training on safety topics.
Maintain housekeeping and 6S standards.
Identify quality issues and attain established productivity standards.
Understand and adhere to safety policies and procedures.
Perform related responsibilities as required or directed.
**Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: **
High School Diploma or GED equivalency required.
1-3 years of Manufacturing experience required. Previous leadership experience a plus. With direct reports
Willing to work 3rd Shift
Must have a general understanding of the operational process.
Willingness to participate in continuous learning initiatives.
Ability to effectively communicate with various stakeholders.
Demonstrate leadership and decision-making skills to logically solve operational decisions and efficiently address issues as they arise.
Must have basic math skills.
Must be able to drive a forklift.
Possess skill to train operators and designation of Certified Trainer.
Continuous commitment to taking on added responsibilities above standard skills.
Capable of troubleshooting difficult production problems and developing appropriate corrective actions.
Proven leadership skills (i.e., communicating safety toolbox talks, serving on quality teams, etc.).
Acquired leadership skills through training courses and dedication to continuous learning and development.
Proven track record of exhibiting core values (i.e. volunteering for added responsibilities, providing coverage for absenteeism and voluntary overtime, helping others with problem solving, etc.)
**Physical Requirements: **
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
Must be able to wear required safety equipment.
Must be able to perform all physical requirements of the roles within their assigned team.
