Through a collaborative custom engineered solutions approach, the Company identifies and recommends the ideal combination of consumables and material handling and packaging systems and wood waste recycling solutions based on Customers specific needs. 


The Crate Builder & Repair position is responsible for constructing, repairing, and maintaining wooden crates and packaging materials used for shipping and storage. This role ensures all crates meet quality, safety, and customer specifications while supporting efficient production operations.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Build custom wooden crates, pallets, and packaging structures according to specifications, blueprints, or work orders
  • Repair damaged crates and pallets to restore structural integrity and usability
  • Measure, cut, and assemble wood materials using hand and power tools (saws, nail guns, drills, etc.)
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer requirements
  • Read and interpret basic drawings, dimensions, and instructions
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety standards
  • Operate equipment such as forklifts (if certified) to move materials and finished goods
  • Identify and report material shortages, defects, or equipment issues
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures 

Qualifications and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in woodworking, construction, manufacturing, or a similar role preferred
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Basic math skills (measuring, cutting, fractions)
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately
  • Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain) preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs regularly
  • Prolonged standing, bending, and repetitive motion
  • Ability to work in a warehouse or production environment
