Role Profile
Position: Counter Technician
Job Location: Williston, ND
Job Type: Full-Time
Status: Non-Exempt

Summary of the Role
The function of the Counter Technician is to provide direct support to the CNC Sales and Distribution team to ensure over the counter orders are completed. This position also performs general warehouse duties and will be responsible for day to day maintenance of the distribution center

• Must maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures
• Quotes customers using working knowledge of product both in-person through retail sales, and via phone or email
• Picks, pulls and packs inventory based on number, size, color, quantity, and quality requirements
• Ships orders via UPS or Freight unless Will Call
• Receives inventory and processes shipments based on customer orders
• Ensures orders are accurate and performs quality checks
• Provides technical/service support to Sales team and internal and external customers
• Processes incoming inquiries to company sales system
• Monitors on-time delivery date commitments and expedites where appropriate
• Monitors customer specific inventory for sales order fulfillment
• Makes outbound calls to potential and existing customers for new and sales growth opportunities
• Builds and maintains strong internal and external relationships
• Successfully achieves budgeted warehouse targets

Skills and Abilities
• Possess excellent customer service skills
• Ability to interact with customers and team-members in a professional manner
• Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities
• Must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Requires a proficiency in math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in units of measure
• Must be able to perform calculations using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
• Basic computer skills including MS Word, Excel, internet and email
• Must be able to successfully utilize the company software
• Forklift certification a plus

• 1-3 years of experience in general warehouse and customer service
• High school diploma or GED required, college preferred
