Job Description

Our Sacramento, CA branch is recruiting for a Counter Sales person to join their team! Counter Sales tema members are the face for our customers, providing stellar customer service, insight, and prodcut knowledge to ensure customers are purchasing the right materials for their job. They also work closely with our warehouse team to ensure the items pulled and prepped and ready for customers piclking up at the branch. Ideal candidates will have a working knowledge in electrical parts and materials, strong attention to detail, and demonstrate courteous professional customer service skills. Taking pride in maintaining a clean and well-stocked counter, and the abiltiy to operate a forklift are integral parts of this role as well. 

Essential Duties:

• Counter Sales: assist customers at counter and types up order for material.
• Makes decisions on pricing if needed.
• Guides customer to various products available.
• Before opening each day makes sure counter area is clean and in order. Also, recycles paper and cardboard from previous day.
• Order Filler: pulls order using RF gun for and places material either in will call, counter or dispatch for delivery.
• Verifies all material was picked for example large orders that are not in RF gun
• During the day keeps coffee area replenished with coffee and supplies for customers.

Responsibilities:

• Forklift Operator: shelving material and pulling material
• Back-up Will Call

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent. 

Skills and Abilities: Detail oriented, good communications and organizational skills. Team player.

Qualifications: Working knowledge of electrical parts and material.
