Job Title

Corporate Environmental Professional

Manages, coordinates and assists all company locations with environmental projects, permits and tasks. Experienced in understanding, interpreting and applying applicable regulations for all locations. Supports improvement projects, assists in compliance evaluations and provides technical guidance when dealing with regulatory agencies.

• Reporting to the Director of Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) is responsible for compliance at Company’s facilities world-wide with applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards
• Serves as subject matter expert to EHS Managers, general managers and plant managers for environmental compliance issues
• Utilizes the EHS Management System to continually monitor and improve environmental performance and proactively minimize or eliminate environmental impacts to land, waters and air
• Performs audits at all facilities to evaluate compliance with applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards
• Develops and conducts training on compliance with environmental laws, regulations and standards
• Provides technical guidance on environmental sample events, stack testing, and similar environmental studies
• Leads environmental improvement projects
• Manages third parties consultants conducting environmental testing and projects at Company facilities
• Develops and implements strategies for sustainable practices and conservation efforts
• Creates and implements processes and concepts to improve the Company’s compliance with environmental laws, regulations and standards
Job Requirements:

• Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Health and Safety, or in a related discipline

• A minimum of 5-7 years of environmental experience

Functional/Technical Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
• Knowledge of applicable environmental laws, regulations and standards and interpretations
• Requires the ability to prioritize and balance multiple ongoing tasks
• Must be able to work with a diverse variety of people from different cultures and backgrounds
