3rd shift:

10:00pm-6:30am Sunday to Thursday

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Converting Technician to operate and monitor production equipment used to convert raw materials into finished products. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor converting and production machinery.
• Set up, adjust, and change equipment according to production specifications.
• Load raw materials and ensure materials are properly positioned for production.
• Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production rates.
• Perform quality checks throughout the production process.
• Troubleshoot basic mechanical and equipment issues.
• Replace or adjust blades, tooling, rollers, and other machine components as required.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and keep equipment and work areas clean.
• Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and PPE requirements.
• Communicate equipment issues, quality concerns, and production needs to supervisors or maintenance personnel.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production goals.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or converting experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn and operate industrial equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and make appropriate adjustments.
• Good attendance and dependable work history.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, push, pull, and lift.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Ability to wear required PPE.
