Immediate hiring opportunities for Set Up Injection Molding Technicians.

This is a 2nd shift (3:15pm to 11:45pm) that will train on 1st shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) for about 3 months.

Cast Products, Inc., a manufacturer of zinc die castings with 50+ years of excellence under its belt, seeks a Die Cast Set Up Technician to join its progressive team. This position is accountable for setting up and making corrections to die-casting process in order to achieve high quality castings.

Job Specifications:

• Visually inspect mold prior to installing into machine
• Connect water and or oil lines and check for water flow and temperature
• Complete setup procedure with assistance
• Load program into machine per specified settings
• Handle dies with care to prevent damage
• Perform scheduled PM functions and complete PM log sheets
• Work closely with machine operators and Quality Department to solve process and machine related problems
• Verify nozzle and pot temperature are correct per production work instruction book
• Setup, troubleshoot and verify that secondary/auxiliary equipment is working properly
• Understand hydraulic core puller sequence and replace hydraulic hoses
• Setup, adjust and replace spray nozzle on lubrication system
• Operate industrial robot program, replace robot gripper and components per production work instruction book
• Check quality of parts according to Tool Set-up Verification Sheet
• Follow the complete operational procedure of the assigned machine including any or all production work instruction book requirements
• Be familiar with emergency procedures for both manual and automatic operation
