A Controls Tech will diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical equipment. Assist with project related design, installation, and commissioning of controls systems.Job Description:
Job Duties
· Assist with troubleshooting and repair of down equipment.
· Ability to navigate ladder logic. Allen Bradley and Siemens.
· Ability to work with 24 DC to 480 volts AC.
· Ability to use test equipment such as a multi-meter, megger, phase rotation meter, and oscilloscope.
· Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
· Ability and knowledge to troubleshoot and repair electrical problems of CNC mills, lathes, shapers, and forge press controls.
· Ability to learn Keyence laser software and 2D barcode software to make adjustments.
· Familiarity with Fanuc or Nachi robots for recovery, point adjustment and program change.
· Understand some aspects of project related design, installation, and commissioning.
· Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic circuits / equipment.
· Assist with general parts research, as necessary.
· Analyzes and resolves machine and conveyor problems.
· Establishes or adjusts work processes to meet production schedules.
· Resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
· Able to drive a forklift, scissor lift / articulating arm boom truck.
· Work with Engineering on any process and 10 foot circle improvement.
· Other duties as assigned by your manager.
