- Per Diem:$120/day for hotel and meals
- Schedule:1st Shift, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday

Are you an experienced Controls Technician looking for your next opportunity? Mural Industrial Staffing is hiring a skilled Automation Technician to support troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and automation equipment for a global manufacturing leader. This role offers strong pay, daily per diem, and the chance to work hands-on with advanced PLC-based control systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting & Maintenance:Diagnose and repair electrical and automation-related equipment failures, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, servo drives, and industrial communication networks (e.g., EtherNet/IP, Profinet).
- System Optimization:Adjust and optimize control logic and PID loops to enhance production performance and product quality.
- Safety Compliance:Champion and uphold all safety policies, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and arc flash procedures.
- New Equipment:Support the commissioning, startup, and debugging of newly integrated automation equipment.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience:Typically 1–5 years of hands-on experience supporting industrial PLC and automation systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or Schneider) in a production environment.
- Technical Skills:Proficiency in reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting sensors, and configuring HMIs and Wonderware or FactoryTalk View.
- Education:Two-year technical/college degree or equivalent relevant training/military experience.
- Flexibility:Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
