Anchor Staffing is looking for an experienced Controls Field Technician.

If you have experience with HVAC controls, Building Automation Systems (BAS), or commercial controls, this is an opportunity to work on a variety of commercial and multifamily projects throughout the New York City metro area.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Troubleshoot HVAC control systems and building automation equipment
• Install and replace controllers, sensors, relays, transformers, valves, and other controls components
• Perform low and high voltage control wiring
• Diagnose and repair system issues in the field
• Test and optimize system performance
• Document completed work and communicate project updates with customers and internal teams
• Manage multiple job sites while delivering excellent customer service

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years of Building Automation System (BAS) and HVAC controls experience
• Experience with low voltage and control wiring
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to climb ladders, operate lifts, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Experience

• Multiple BAS platforms and communication protocols
• TCP/IP networking
• Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs)
• Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and Word
• Strong communication and customer service skills
