Company Info:

A growing manufacturing company on the west side of Indianapolis is adding a Controls Engineer to their growing team.

The Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, installing, and supporting automation systems used throughout the manufacturing plant. This role develops PLC/HMI programs, electrical control systems, and integration between equipment, sensors, and production processes. The Controls Engineer works cross‑functionally with maintenance, production, quality, and engineering teams to improve safety, equipment reliability, and manufacturing efficiency.

Job Summary:

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain PLC systems (Mitsubishi preferred)
• Diagnose and resolve automation and equipment issues on the production floor
• Support system improvements for efficiency and reliability
• Assist with new equipment installs and system integration
• Partner with maintenance and production teams to minimize downtime

Location: West Indianapolis, IN

Position Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours (flexibility as needed)

Qualifications:

• Controls Engineer: PLC programming experience, strong troubleshooting skills, manufacturing/automation background
• Strong Mistubishi controls experience required.
