The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

  • Supervise Automation Technicians and Programmers, assign work, provide mentorship, and ensure proper training and skill development
  • Oversee control system design, PLC/HMI programming, panel builds, machine wiring, and system commissioning while ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes
  • Independently manage multiple automation projects, troubleshoot complex electrical and hydraulic issues, and ensure seamless system integration
  • Collaborate with customers on project scope, provide technical support and training, and travel for site visits, retrofits, and commissioning- - - - - - Enforce safety standards, approve designs, oversee part procurement, conduct quality audits, and handle administrative tasks like scheduling and performance reviews
