Job Summary:
The Controller is responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls of the organization. This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial statements, compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and provides financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
Essential Functions:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensures the timely, effective Global Consolidation period end close process working together with the regional finance groups with associated regulatory and tax filings
- Ensures continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes and the development of the team with the goal of achieving the best practices and optimal output
- Works with human resources (HR) to manage the payroll function ensuring efficient, cost-effective systems, processes and controls; collaborates with HR to ensure financial aspects of all benefit programs are effectively understood and managed
- Ensure compliance with GAAP (or IFRS), tax regulations, and company policies.
- Manage the annual budgeting and forecasting processes and support the strategic planning process
- Develop and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Coordinate and lead the annual audit process with external auditors.
- Partner with P&L owners to provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business initiatives and growth strategies.
- Oversee cash flow management, banking relationships, and treasury activities.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional growth and performance excellence.
- Implement and enhance accounting systems, processes, and policies for efficiency and accuracy.

Job Specifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
- CPA required.
- 7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
