Job Title: Controller                                  Department: Accounting


Location: 531 Old Swede Road - Douglassville, Pennsylvania 19518 | This position is on-site, and we are looking for people who share our passion for teamwork. We are better when we are together!

 

Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM (Full-Time, On-site)

 

Experience Needed: 10+ years of accounting experience with preferred 3-5 years experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing accounting environment  

 

Salary: Competitive starting yearly salary | based on qualifications and experience.

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Lead daily operations of the accounting department (GL, AP, AR, cash management, job costing)
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports, forecasts, and budgets
  • Supervise month-end close, year-end audit, and state/local compliance
  • Implement process improvements and internal controls
  • Collaborate on ERP improvements and replacement initiatives
  • Support financial planning for capital projects and profitability analysis
  • Ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards (job costing, percent complete, WIP)

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Education: 
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
    • CPA preferred
  • Experience:
    • 10+ years of progressive accounting experience
    • 3–5 years leading an accounting team in a manufacturing environment
    • Hands-on knowledge of accrual basis accounting, job costing, and financial systems
  • Skills:
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Strong leadership, communication, and process improvement abilities
    • ERP and financial reporting system experience (Jobscope, ADP, Avalara a plus)
