What You’ll Do:
- Lead and mentor the plant level accounting team, ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations.
- Own the month end and year end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
- Analyze production costs and financial performance to support key business decisions.
- Develop, monitor, and report on budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures (CAPEX).
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial reports with detailed insights for leadership.
- Partner with cross functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement scalable financial controls.
- Serve as the point of contact for external auditors and tax professionals, managing audit processes and ensuring compliance with GAAP and all regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all accounting practices align with corporate policies and support business growth.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA highly preferred.
- 7–10 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with 3–5 years in a leadership role within manufacturing.
- Expert-level knowledge of U.S. GAAP, tax regulations, and cost accounting.
- Proven track record managing full cycle accounting processes, from journal entries to financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to translate data into operational insight.
- Proficiency with financial systems and ERP platforms.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills, capable of guiding teams and building cross-functional partnerships.
- A proactive, detail oriented mindset with a drive to improve processes and support business goals.
