Are you ready to use your contracting skills and management experience? This is your opportunity! As a Contracts Manager II, you will be using your skills and expertise to propose, negotiate, and manage contracts on behalf of SNC. You'll be responsible for providing guidance and recommendations to SNC leadership on a wide variety of contractual issues. You will act as a key member of assorted program teams and work with both internal and external customers on a daily basis to provide needed contract support. . You'll advise management of contractual rights and obligations and ensure our contracting activities provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment. In addition, you will have managerial responsibilities for contracts administration support staff.

As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications. Must-haves:

• Experience with government contracting (FAR/DFARS) including: terms & conditions, deliverables, contract interpretation, equitable adjustments, terminations, NDAs, teaming agreements, government property, contract closeouts, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study
  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service skills (both internal and external customers)
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent computer skills (MS Office and ability to learn proprietary systems)

Preferred:

• Managerial experience
• Negotiation experience
• Previous legal experience
• NCMA membership and/or related professional certifications
