Aquila Talent Solution is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to support high-volume hiring for hourly manufacturing roles across our Thorp and Marshfield, WI facilities. This is a hybrid position offering a blend of on-site engagement and remote flexibility, ideal for a recruiter who thrives in fast-paced, hands-on environments. This is a 6-month contract, with the potential to lead into a longer-term role.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly manufacturing positions, including production, assembly, and skilled trades roles
- Partner closely with plant leadership and hiring managers to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies to attract qualified, local talent in competitive labor markets
- Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide hiring decisions to ensure quality and speed
- Maintain a strong on-site presence to support hiring events, walk-ins, and workforce engagement
- Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates on pipeline health, time-to-fill, and hiring challenges
- Ensure a positive candidate experience from initial contact through onboarding
Qualifications
- Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing or high-volume hourly roles
- Ability to work in a hybrid model with regular on-site presence in Thorp and/or Marshfield, WI
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with ATS systems and recruitment reporting
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
- Self-starter with the ability to manage priorities independently
Preferred Experience
- Background supporting multi-site or plant-based recruiting
- Familiarity with Wisconsin labor markets or similar rural hiring environments
- Experience supporting workforce ramp-ups or project-based hiring initiatives
