About the Role

We are seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Content & Creative Marketing Manager to lead the planning, execution, and optimization of Allentown’s content and digital marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role is central to shaping our brand narrative, engaging our audiences, and supporting growth across digital channels. This position also includes direct management of in-house Graphic Design and Multimedia.

 

The ideal candidate is a skilled content marketer with strong writing and strategic capabilities and proficiency with managing social media posts on multiple channels, who also brings experience managing creative professionals and directing the production of visual and video assets across a wide range of marketing projects. This role requires someone who can lead content development while also providing clear creative direction to in-house designers and video specialists ensuring cohesive execution across social media and all brand touchpoints.

 

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Digital Marketing

  • Own and execute the content marketing strategy across social media, blog, email, paid media, and internal communications.
  • Write and edit a variety of marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, sales collateral, and web copy.
  • Ensure brand consistency and high-quality messaging across all digital platforms and campaigns.

Social Media Management

  • Lead organic social media presence from strategy to execution (LinkedIn, Instagram, X, Facebook).
  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging, on-brand visual and video content.
  • Plan content calendars, write copy, schedule posts, and analyze engagement metrics.

Paid Advertising

  • Develop and manage paid advertising campaigns on Google and LinkedIn.
  • Write compelling ad copy, coordinate visuals, and optimize campaigns based on performance.
  • Monitor and report on ad spend, ROI, and campaign KPIs.

Email Marketing

  • Create strategic email campaigns including copywriting, campaign planning, and list targeting in collaboration with Marketing IT.
  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance for engagement and conversions.

Internal Communications (Pulse Board)

  • Manage and update the company’s internal communication platform to highlight achievements, announcements, and cultural moments.
  • Coordinate with HR and leadership to source and share meaningful internal content.

Blog & Thought Leadership

  • Own and manage Allentown’s blog including editorial calendar, content creation, SEO optimization, and cross-functional input.
  • Publish articles via WordPress and ensure alignment with marketing goals and industry trends.

Sales & Marketing Support

  • Provide messaging for sales presentations, product one-pagers, brochures, and event flyers.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to ensure materials are aligned with business goals.

 

Team Leadership

You will manage and mentor:

  • Graphic Designer – Provide detailed creative direction, ensure timely delivery of visual assets.
  • Multimedia Specialist – Guide video concepting, script development, and final production with autonomy and trust in their expertise.

You'll use tools like Freedcamp to assign tasks, hold regular check-ins, and foster a collaborative creative environment.

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in content marketing or digital marketing roles, preferably B2B or life sciences
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills
  • Experience managing social media platforms and content calendars
  • Knowledge of Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and marketing performance metrics
  • Familiarity with SEO, email marketing tools, and WordPress
  • Demonstrated experience leading creative teams or freelancers
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, IT, and Product teams

 

Preferred Tools & Skills

  • Proficiency with LinkedIn, Instagram, X, and Facebook
  • Sprout Social (or similar scheduling platforms)
  • Google Analytics / Ad platforms
  • Freedcamp (or other project management tools)
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite familiarity a plus
  • Video scripting and concepting experience
