Summary Description:

At The Gorilla Glue Company, we're passionate about building strong brands with our fantastic team of employees. We believe in promoting a culture of excellence that empowers, engages, and connects people. This position provides top-notch customer service to consumers of Gorilla Glue and O’Keeffe’s products, answering inquiries and concerns received by phone, e-mail, and social media.

What will your day look like?

• Provide exceptional service to consumers by listening and responding timely to all inquiries and concerns.
• Document each consumer contact in the Consumer Affairs database and follow specifications for data entry.
• Develop and maintain an in-depth product knowledge to assist consumers with projects and product selection.
• Create brand awareness to develop loyal consumers.
• Monitor consumer feedback and report issues to management.

• Assist with Consumer Affairs and general office duties including mail, supplies, filing, and other tasks.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

What will you bring to the table?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2 years customer service experience preferred.
• Strong typing, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to listen patiently and remain calm in difficult situations.
• Team player with a courteous and friendly demeanor and ability to work well with peers and management.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to learn new tasks quickly, retain information, and handle multiple demands.
• Solid problem solving and decision making skills.
• Working knowledge of computer systems, including Outlook and Word.  Basic knowledge of internet applications and social media platforms.
• Data analytics skills using Excel and PowerBI preferred.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stoop, reach, stand, walk, lift, pull, push, grasp, talk, hear, see and use repetitive motions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift and or move up to 10 pounds of material, boxes, or sit for long periods of time, etc. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision such as reading handwritten and or typed material and must have the ability to focus.
