Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Construction Technician to join a growing team specializing in commercial, industrial, and residential construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a dependable, hands-on professional who has a strong construction background and can contribute immediately to a variety of projects.

The ideal candidate will possess well-rounded construction experience and be comfortable working independently as well as with a crew. Candidates should have a strong understanding of construction methods, job site safety, and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction activities on commercial, industrial, and residential projects

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

• Assist with framing, demolition, remodeling, finish work, and general carpentry

• Operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials

• Maintain job site cleanliness and organization

• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations

• Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, subcontractors, and team members

• Complete projects according to schedule and quality expectations

• Identify and communicate potential job site issues or safety concerns

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction experience preferred

• Experience in commercial, industrial, and residential construction environments

• Strong understanding of construction practices, tools, and materials

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings

• Experience with framing, finish carpentry, remodeling, concrete, or general construction activities preferred

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions

Preferred Skills

• Carpentry experience

• Remodeling and renovation experience

• Commercial construction experience

• Equipment operation experience

• OSHA certification

• Strong problem-solving abilities

• Leadership or crew lead experience
