Salary Range: $80,000 – $120,000 per year

A well-established and growing Commercial Construction Company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to join its Richmond-based team. This is a direct hire opportunity for a driven construction professional who excels in a fast-paced field environment and is committed to delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The Superintendent will play a key leadership role on-site, coordinating daily operations, managing subcontractors, and ensuring quality workmanship throughout all phases of construction.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day jobsite operations for commercial construction projects

• Ensure all work complies with safety standards, inspections, and company policies

• Coordinate, schedule, and supervise subcontractors to maintain project timelines

• Track project progress and update schedules to meet deadlines

• Review drawings and specifications and implement updates as project changes occur

• Verify pricing accuracy and assist with maintaining project budgets

• Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and other stakeholders

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction or a related trade

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and jobsite priorities

• Basic computer skills, including scheduling, documentation, and communication tools

• Ability to work efficiently in a field-based environment
