In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient lifting and moving of heavy materials on construction sites. Responsibilities

• Operate heavy lifting equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and hoists to move materials and equipment.
• Inspect lifting equipment before use to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and team members to plan and execute lifting operations effectively.
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
• Perform routine maintenance on lifting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks and storage areas.
• Maintain accurate records of lifting operations and equipment inspections.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to management immediately.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in heavy lifting operations preferred.

• Must wear still-toed work boots for full shift

• Proven experience operating heavy lifting equipment in a construction environment.

• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
